Pumpkins!!!

Pumpkin, pumpkin, who's got the punpkin?? Well, I don't know who's got THE pumpkin but I've got 3 of them! :) I have 3 cute lil punkies illustrated by Natalie VonRaven. you can get your stamp here

To make this card: Cut a piece of black and white patterned paper to fit the front of your purple card base. Cut strips of black and purple cardstock and layer. then tie some orange and black ribbon on it and adhere to the front of your card. Stamp and color 3 cute pumpkins. Adhere to card with pop dots and add stickles to the black areas for the "WOW!" factor. Next I took a piece of patterned paper and cut out "Monster Mash" from it matted it with purple then black and mounted it to the front of my card.

Spoooky Flowers!

Flowers.. Flowers.. Flowers.. I love making my own paper flowers! I had an empty frame and a post card sitting on my desk so I thought why not frame the post card and embellish with some hand made flowers?? then I thought.. hmm.... add some wings!  Then... I got the idea to use vellum for the wings but alas, after an hour of looking for just a scrap of vellum, I couldn't find ANY! Not 1 stinkin scrap! So, I had some thick frosted plastic... I said to myself "Why not?" And away I went! I pulled out the handy dandy Black Stazon ink and my Delicate Wings Stamps and went to work! I used some teeny tiny rhinestones to dress up the wings and viola! My framed art was finished.

Next cut a piece of black cardstock the length of your image and about 1/2-3/4" thick and tie 3 pieces of orange ribbon around it. adhere the image and black strip to a rectangle of green pattern paper matted with black cardstock the the front of your card.

Ol' Bag O' Bones!

Hi friends!! It's skeletons/bones day here on our blog hop! I have a stamp from Natalie VonRaven to share with you today, it's called The Joker.

To make this card: cut a piece of black cardstock and adhere it to the front of your card base. Cut a triangle of pink patterned paper and adhere that to the front of your card (for this one I used the left over paper I had from yesterday's card!)

Next, stamp and color your image and then use an ink applicator and Vintage Photo Distress ink to age the background of the image if desired. I sprayed the entire image with my home made glimmer mist to give it a nice shimmer. Mat the stamped image with black cardstock and green patterned paper and use a border punch on the green.

For the bones embellishment, I used an arm for a skeleton I had left over from our Coffin contest and some ribbon.

To make this card cut a piece of black cardstock and adhere it to the front of a card base. cut and mat pink and orange patterned cardstocks to the front of your card. (to do this I just cut rectangles of each color 4"X 5.25" and cut them diagonally) Next take a strip of black cardstock and use a border punch to make the banner points. adhere to your card front.

Stamp and color your Day of the Dead girl image and mat with black cardstock. Adhere to front of card with pop dots. Apply rhinestones and crystal lacquer as desired!

It's a purple kinda day!!

It's PURPLE day!!!! My favorite color of all time!! I have a fun card with a NEW stamp to share today!! So lets jump into it! My card is a shaped card. Looks kind of like a tombstone. :)

To make my card front I cut a piece of cardstock to fit. Stamped the sentiment in Orange CTMH Ink and matted it with some patterned cardstock from DCWV. I applied some brads and metallic thread/ twine.

To make the inside of my card, I Just added some patterned cardstock on the edges that have been trimmed with scalloped scissors. I stamped the witch on white cardstock and colored her.. then I went hog wild with my jewel crusted embossing technique in this video from Michaels. After That, I thought.. hmm the witch needs to stand out more.. so I stamped and colored her one more time and used pop dots to put her on the top of the first witch. :)

I hope you like my purple themed card! It was so much fun to make!! :) Have a fun filled day!
