I made some cards!!

Check these out! I got a custom order from a nice lady on my Etsy store. She wanted 2 cards for some co-workers that had surgery... 1 Baby card for her new neice and a card for a co-workers 10th anniversary with the company. This is what I came up with...

For the card above... It's the one for her co-worker who's been with the the company for 10 years. She told me she wanted something to do with the Academy Awards. I think this is the hardest thing I've ever had to do!! I know NOTHING about the awards. Ok, I occasionally watch Ms. America but that's it. lol. So i googled the Academy Awards and found the little picture in the middle of the card. and I looked through the things that popped up on google and I looked at all the pics of the celeb's in all their poofy dresses and it just clicked! Turned out better than I thought. :)

New things!!

Today was a buys bee day for me! I went shooting with dad today and it was so much fun! I'll post a pic of our target soon. I need to get it out of the car. lol. If you don't know.. my dad is a competitive shooter and hold some state records!! go dad! anyhow.. he's trying to get me into it. I want to but geesh it's soooo expensive! so today I went to the range with him and shot with his new gun that he built. :) It's fancy!! I want one.. only.. I want it in PURPLE! :)

I also go to go back to the SEI warehouse today as well. I got the paper for July's Royal Kit over at Queen Kat Designs.. It's FANTASTC!!! I can't wait to make the stamps to go with it! But I have 3 months ahead of it. lol

Lately I've been selling my stuff on Etsy.. Well, I've had 21 sales! yay me. :) Here's some of the latest that's in the store now..

Then.. there's these special gift cards... I haven't been able to make enough! LOL! I've sold so many of these little things. They are so fun and cute. 6 for only $3.50.. Peeps are eating them up!! Come and get some stuff from my Etsy store!

Shopping Trip!

It's been just over a year since I posted a shopping trip of mine.. So.. here's one for yah..

We left about 7 hours ago and this is what I came home with... 5 stores later... I have almost 100 yards of different ribbons! :) To add to my collection of.. oh... close to 2000 yards in my studio already... I's say I did good today! :) That's not all I got! But at the moment my mind is racing so fast I can't remember what I got! :) all I know is I have RIBBON coming out my ears! I've even actaully already sorted and bagged it all ready to hang on my home made clip it up thingy. See...

They are sorted by color.. Green, yellow, red, pink, purple, brown, blue, teal and so on.. I think I have OCD but the jury is still out on that one! I just downloaded the pics from me camera that I took a couple weeks ago when my little nephew (the love of my life) came to visit us... Here's one that I just had to share..

Do you know what he was about to do??? as I snapped the picture I told him he'd get clobbered if that little finger popped up at me! LOL I sure miss him like crazy. I wish he didn't live so far from me. I hate driving in traffic so I really don't get to see him because he's south of Salt Lake and I'm North.. :( But I do enjoy my time with him when he comes. :) I'm sorry I dont have anything fun to share today that I've made. Maybe tonight.. :)

Fairies & Flowers!

We had kind of a theme this month at QKD as we released a TON of new stamps!! I think there was like 18 stamps and sets total!! It was a huge release. Here's some journals I made with the new stamps. They are in my etsy store right now! :) Come n get em!

Then... I made this SUPER cute recipe book and uploaded it to my esty store.. and guess what??? It SOLD!! not even up for 5 hours.. SOLD! I will be making a couple more so if you missed out on this one, be sure to check often cuz I'm ALWAYS adding stuff. I have minnie, mickey, goofy, pluto, daisy and donald up now!! Come check me out!

Royal Memory Maker Call

Do you stamp? Are you a stamping scrapbooker? Are you addicted to Clear stamps? Then apply now. Queen Kat Designs is looking for one or more Royal Memory Makers to bring some fun and excitement to the Royal Court. You will be responsible for making 4 samples a month along with blog posts and message board duties. You will coordinate with the other court members to help with different things that Queen Kat Designs is involved in.

You will receive 1 or more new stamp sets each month. You will be responsible for 4 samples per set you receive. This team has a 6 month term beginning May 1, 2009 and ending October 31, 2009.

Helloooooooo Kitty!

So.. as you know.. I started an Etsy store again... I spent the weekend making new things for it. Most of which.. ok.. ALL of which are paper piecings. My hands are sore and have glue all over them!
